Armed Robbery
This is similar to a normal robbery but a weapon is used. The weapon is not a deadly one because this would be classified differently. The weapon can be anything from a bat to a small knife.

Aggravated Robbery
This is a robbery violent crime where a deadly weapon is used, something like a gun or another type of weapon that could kill a person. This type of robbery could change your entire life and the life of your family.

A Mugging
This is a type of robbery that takes place in a public place. The robber will take your belongings by threatening force. It usually happens in a dark alley or a place in a corner. They have serious consequences.

Nickels private investigations has used much of the FBI statistics to find out as much as possible about who is victimized by robbery violent crime. For instance, people that are under the age of 50 are more likely to be victims of a violent robbery. Those that are over the age of 50 usually only have property robberies and are not harmed in any way.

The best way to avoid a robbery is to take preventative measures, and increase your personal security. Carry some type of self defense product, don’t walk alone at night, keep to lighted areas. Use video surveillance in your home and business
