I’ve been a private investigator in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine for a number of years. I love what I do and wouldn’t dream of doing anything else. What about you, though? Have you thought about becoming a private investigator, but just aren’t sure whether it’s the right road?

Being a private investigator isn’t much like Murder She Wrote, the Hardy Boys, Matlock or the Nancy Drew Mysteries. Yes, there’s a lot of “connecting the dots”, but it’s mostly finding and analyzing information. Although footwork comes into it, investigators use computers to gain a lot of information, such as deleted emails, arrest records, convictions, memberships and telephone numbers.  [click to continue…]
